A Gauteng-based FMCG manufacturer grew its headcount from 55 to 140 employees over eighteen months. The internal HR coordinator was overwhelmed with day-to-day administration, performance reviews were overdue, and the company was approaching an employment equity audit with incomplete reporting and undocumented disciplinary processes. Our approach

In parallel, our team completed a comprehensive employment equity audit preparation - updating the EE plan, reviewing occupational level classifications and compiling the statutory report. We also drafted updated employment contracts and implemented a structured performance management schedule with clear timelines for the client's line managers.
The outcome
The employment equity report was submitted on time with no adverse findings. Administration backlogs were cleared within six weeks, and the client's internal coordinator was free to focus on onboarding, training and culture.
